SUBSTANCE: method of controlling regeneration of a particulate filter (DPF filter) comprising an inlet and an outlet, comprising a first process of checking a first state depending on a pressure difference, calculated between the inlet and outlet of the particulate filter, and a second process of checking the second condition depending on temperature measurement at the outlet of the particulate filter, wherein the method has the possibility of interrupting regeneration when one of said first and/or second verification process results in a positive outcome.
