FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to steam separation and superheat system for nuclear power plant turbines. Invention is aimed at solving problem of reduction of weight and size while maintaining efficiency of heat exchange. Both pipe packs of the first and second superheater overheating stages are vertically turned at one height so that to form between themselves and the housing inner part two inlet segmented collectors, wedge-shaped exhaust manifold with turning angle of 10°and up to 90°, and steam outlet branch pipe is located in vertical housing opposite to wedge-shaped outlet header.
EFFECT: actual reduction of weight and size characteristics makes 18–25 % that allows using this solution in compact systems for steam separation and overheating.
