FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly ophthalmology, and represents a method for treating anterior uveitis of animals of mild and moderate severity, characterized by subconjunctival introduction of a mixture of fibrinolytic (tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)) in the region of an input of long ciliary arteries under the bulbar conjunctiva of the eyeball in the form of alteplases (Aktilis) in concentration of 50 mcg/0.05 ml, mydriatic in the form of phenylephrine (Mesatone) in concentration of 1 mg/0.1 ml and diluent in the form of sterile sodium chloride 0.9 % in concentration 0.45 mg/0.05 ml, wherein the components in the mixture are in a certain ratio, wt%, followed by a standard local and systemic anti-inflammatory therapy.
EFFECT: invention provides fast and effective lysis of hyphema, blood clots, fibrin, hypopion appearing in anterior eye chamber as a result of anterior uveitis.
