FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for treating anterior uveites of animals and birds of severe severity, characterized by introducing into the anterior eye chamber a mixture of a fibrinolytic – tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)) in the form of alteplase (Actilease) in concentration of 50 mcg/0.05 ml, mydriatics in the form of phenylephrine (Mesatone) in concentration of 1 mg/0.1 ml and a diluent in the form of sterile sodium chloride 0.9 % in concentration 0.45 mg/0.05 ml, wherein the components of the mixture are in a certain ratio, wt %, followed by a standard local and systemic anti-inflammatory therapy.

EFFECT: invention provides fast and effective lysis of hyphema, blood clots, fibrin, hypopion appearing in anterior eye chamber as a result of severe anterior uveites.
