Abstract RU 2707319 C2

FIELD: training simulators; sport.

SUBSTANCE: present invention generally relates to elliptical exercise machines, devices for performing physical exercises in which the trajectory of the leg of the user is an ellipse. Said elliptical machine has traction levers pivotally connected to the frame, and bearing rods of pedal foot supports pivotally attached to the traction levers. Horizontal links link the traction levers to the crank mechanism, and vertical links connect the bearing rods to the crank mechanism in such a way that the rotation of the crank mechanism drives the pedal platforms with foot supports along a generally elliptical trajectory.
