SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring and diagnosing the state of an industrial facility. Said technical result is achieved due to the fact that a system for diagnosing an industrial facility is developed, comprising a data collection unit configured to collect data from a set of sensors of an industrial facility; an industrial object model block configured to simulate an industrial object; an analysis unit configured to analyze the state of the industrial object based on data obtained from the data collection unit and the industrial object model; wherein the analysis unit is configured to conclude on the normal or abnormal operation of the industrial object based on the analysis; wherein the analysis unit is configured to receive data on changes made to the industrial object, and to command the model unit to change the model in accordance with the changes.

EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosing an industrial facility in terms of detecting pre-fault conditions.
