FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for manufacturing a biodegradable temporary lacoprothesis based on a biodegradable polymer material, characterized in that the biodegradable polymer material used is either a biodegradable homopolymer or a polyester copolymer, from which by injection molding at temperature of 140–230 °C in preheated to 90–150 °C lacoprothesis is produced with mold or a mixture of methacrylated biodegradable homopolymers or copolymers of polyesters with vinyl acetate and/or N-vinylpyrrolidone in amount of 0–50 mol% in the presence of azobisisobutyronitrile in amount of 2–5 mol%, from which by pressure casting at room temperature with subsequent thermoinitiative cross-linking at 70–120° for 5–12 hours, refining by extraction in an organic solvent, washing in deionised water and drying in vacuum is used to produce a lacoprothesis.
EFFECT: present invention enables to obtain a biodegradable lacoprothesis for temporary implantation, reliably fixed in a newly created rhinostoma and stimulating bodderctruction of the walls of a new nasolacrimal canal.
