FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine and concerns a composition for topical treatment of bone fracture or bone defect and accordingly containing such a patch, an injectable composition forming a depot in situ, bone-substituting aggregate or coating for bone-substituting aggregate, medical device and/or bone implant, as well as a bone implant and a medical device (selected from a group consisting of a bone screw, a bone plate, a bone pin, a spinal implant) with the above coating, a method of treating fractures or bone defects using said agents and devices. Disclosed composition is a composition for topical administration to bone and contains at least one biodegradable polymer, testosterone or its ester and alendronate or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, wherein the amount of said alendronate or salt thereof ranges from 0.1 mcg to 1 mg and the amount of said testosterone or ester thereof ranges from 1 mcg to 10 mg. Also disclosed is the use of testosterone or its ester, alendronate or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and at least one biodegradable polymer for preparing a medicinal agent for local treatment of bone fracture or defect, wherein the amount of said alendronate or salt thereof ranges from 0.1 mcg to 1 mg and the amount of said testosterone or ester thereof ranges from 1 mcg to 10 mg. Method of treating a bone fracture or bone defect in a patient comprises administering to a fracture point said composition or patch or an injectable composition forming a depot in situ, and/or administering the above bone-substituting aggregate, or medical device, or bone implant on or to a bone fracture or bone defect, wherein the amount of the administered alendronate or its salt ranges from 0.1 mcg to 1 mg and the amount of testosterone or its ester ranges from 1 mcg and 10 mg.

EFFECT: use of group of inventions stimulates fracture healing and/or formation of new bone in treating bone fractures or defects due to synergetic effect ensured by said combination of active components.
