FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar, in particular to the secondary processing of radar information, and is intended for use in tracking systems for mobile purposes. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that the strobe is formed in a coordinate system in the form of a truncated elliptic ball sector limited by heading, trajectory inclination angle and range with values Kmin, Kmax, φmin, φmax and Dmin, Dmax respectively, the values Kmin, Kmax is calculated based on course and mean-square deviation (MSD) course estimates taking into account calculated rate of course change, values φmin, φmax is calculated based on estimates of path inclination angle and MSD of trajectory inclination angle based on calculated rate of trajectory inclination angle variation, a Dmin, Dmax – based on speed and MSD speed estimates with allowance for calculated linear acceleration, and deviations , calculated at current i-th reference to target, are used to adapt the shape and sizes of tracking gate to intensity of maneuvering of tracked target at each tracking stage.
EFFECT: high reliability of radar information.
