FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices for laser irradiation of vessels and internal organs. Device for laser irradiation of vessels and internal organs comprises laser radiation source, a fibre-optic cable having an optical connector, a light guide with an optical core, an optical coating and a protective polymer shell, a diffuser with an optical core and an optical enclosure, which includes sequentially arranged process zone, optical zone and a distal cone at the end, a protective cap made of optically transparent inert material, which is attached by its inner surface to the optical shell in the diffuser process zone. Protective cap on the outer side is coated with a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene.
EFFECT: use of this invention will allow to prevent adhesion of light guide to tissues and formation of scale on protective cap during operation.
