FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: moulded foamed polyurethane article is made via reaction injection moulding from polyisocyanate, polyol mixture containing polyol, a catalyst and a cross-linking agent, and a foaming agent. Polyisocyanae, polyol mixture and foaming agent are continuously fed into the die mould of a moulding machine in which polyisocyanate, polyol mixture and foaming agent are fed separately. Supply of the foaming agent is delayed by at least 0.1 seconds after supply of polyisocyanate and the polyol mixture. The amount of polyisocyanate and polyol mixture before feeding the foaming agent is at least 10% of the total weight of polyisocyanate and total weight of the polyol mixture, respectively.

EFFECT: obtaining a foamed polyurethane article in one step, having on the required parts an outer layer with density of at least 0,8 g/cm3 and covers at least 50% of the entire surface area of the moulded article.
