FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry, and can be used in orthodontics to correct dentoalveolar anomalies. Orthodontic brace for binding a wire orthodontic arch with a tooth comprises a bracket body, a ligation bolster and an elastic element. Bracket body includes a hole and a slot for a wire orthodontic arc. Ligating shutter is made with possibility of translational sliding relative to slot for wire orthodontic arc between open position and first closed position and is made with possibility of rotation relative to slot for wire orthodontic arc to second closed position, wherein second closed position differs from first closed position. Resilient element is connected with ligating gate and is made with possibility of sliding in hole.
EFFECT: invention improves direction of bracket turn during orthopaedic treatment due to exact correspondence between wire orthodontic arch and closed clearance provided by bracket body and movable element.
