Aspect of the invention refers to an orthodontic bracket comprising a substrate body having a posterior surface which is configured to mate with a front surface of a patient's tooth and disconnected from a front surface of a patient's tooth, wherein a patient's tooth is to be treated in a multi-stage course of orthodontic treatment, and the substrate body remains attached to the patient's tooth throughout the entire multi-stage orthodontic treatment prescribed by the attending doctor.
EFFECT: inventions provide a doctor with a predetermined plan of treating a patient by using a plurality of bracket bodies which can be detachably attached and conjugation to the substrate body, which is retained attached to a patient's tooth throughout the course of treatment, which enables to expand treatment options, increase patient's comfort and reduce the costs associated with this treatment.
