SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, chemical and food industry, namely to a method for complex treatment of products of vital activity Galleria mellonella, involving extraction of melanin substances by NaOH solution, filtration, precipitation of melanin substances by adding a hydrochloric acid solution, separating the obtained precipitate from the solution by centrifugation, washing the residue with distilled water, freezing the precipitate and drying the formed precipitate, wherein the method further comprises extracting the products of vital activity of Galleria mellonella with hexane, separating hexane from the extraction cake and pumping it into an evaporator, evaporating hexane, wax clarification with sulfuric acid, wax draining into molds, at that, wax extraction by hexane is carried out at temperature of not more than 100±5 °C for 60±5 minutes, evaporation of hexane is carried out for an hour at temperature of not more than 100±5 °C.

EFFECT: technical result of proposed invention consists in expansion of raw material and technological base for production of melanin and wax; improvement of ecological safety of processing complexes due to non-waste technology for processing of vital activity products of large bee moth, including production of wax, melanin and fertilizer; lower cost of finished products.
