FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention includes a modified sensor module for use with a head protection device comprising a helmet and a visor. Sensor module comprises a housing for sensors and a fastening mechanism. Housing for sensors comprises a head detection sensor to determine when the head protection device is worn. Housing for sensors also comprises position sensor to determine position of visor relative to helmet. Modified sensor module further comprises a fastening mechanism attached to the housing. Fastening mechanism is joined to the first hinged component of the hinged unit in the protective device for the head for the purpose of detachable installation of the sensor module in the protective device for the head, at that, the hinged unit ensures movement of the visor relative to the helmet.
EFFECT: disclosed is a modified sensor module for a head protection device.
