FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantitative assessment of risk and reliability during drilling and completion of well based on a number of parameters, such as non-productive time (NPT). Method comprises stages, at which, using input interface, time is consumed below rotary table and multiple parameters of well in field for one or several planned descents are determined, using at least one processor, one or more non-productive time values, which correspond to one or more scheduled descents, based on well parameters in the field, form, using at least one processor, distribution of non-productive time and allocation of time expenditures below rotary table by means of one or more Monte-Carlo tests, and displaying, using a graphical display, the results of the risk transfer model, based on the total time costs (TTC) below the rotary table and the distribution of non-productive time obtained as a result of one or more tests by the Monte Carlo method.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency and profitability of well completion.
