SUBSTANCE: system and method to obtain advanced profile measurements are suggested, at that the method includes placing of energy radiator such as radiating antenna close to the bottomhole assembly. At that one energy receiver or several energy receivers such as receiving antennas are placed along length of the bottomhole assembly. Then energy is radiated in order to perform forward scanning in regard to the bottomhole assembly. Data of the forward scanning curve are formed with axis x, being time function in regard to position of the bottomhole assembly. The forward scanning curve is plotted and displayed at the display. Against the forward scanning curve, based on geologic environment models, it is possible to trace evaluated formation values. The evaluated formation values are displayed below the line of tool position change in time, which is a part of the forward scanning curve. At that the evaluated formation values at the forward scanning curve may be based on inversion of data on specific resistivity from forward scanning.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and data content on a set of layers in front of the drilling bit as the downhole assembly moves thus ensuring more accurate control of directed drilling.
