SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to networks of blockchains. Method includes identification, by means of a relay, which is communicatively connected to a first instance of a chain of blocks and a second instance of a blockchains in a unified network of chains of blocks, a domain name of a chain of blocks for the first instance of a chain of blocks; identification of domain name of chain of blocks for second instance of chain of blocks; receiving, from node of first instance of chain of blocks, request for access for access to second instance of chain of blocks; identifying the chain identifier for the second block chain instance based on the block chain domain name for the second block chain instance; providing access to the second block chain instance for the first block chain instance based on the network configuration of the block chains.
EFFECT: technical result is improved security for cross-chain communication based on a unified domain name.
