SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely to screw propeller of screw-steering column of water vessel, in particular ice-class ship, providing movement both nose and stern forward in ice conditions on modes of icebreaking capability, as well as ship maneuvering, and to screw-steering column with the above propeller. Screw propeller (22) of screw-steering column (1) of water vessel (2) for installation on propeller shaft (20) comprises hub (33) of screw, which can be rigidly fixed on conical shank (21) of propeller shaft (20) and screw propeller blades (30), each of which comprises blade feather (31) and blade flange (32) made in one piece, mounted on hub (33) of screw, at that, blade feather (31) passes into blade flange (32) by means of fillet coupling (64, 65), which forms the weakest section for possible destruction of the blade in the section of its feather, which directly adjoins the fillet coupling. According to the invention, the outer surface of flange (32) of the blade has a profile concave in the meridian section in the direction of axis (50) of the screw to reduce the distance from the said section of blade feather (31) to axis (50) of the screw.

EFFECT: this invention is aimed at reduction of screw-steering column weight and, consequently, its cost.
