FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding equipment. Proposed device comprises photoelectric sensor of actual speed of filler wire feed connected with computation device with possibility of its connection to motor of filler wire feed mechanism. At that, said sensor is made in the form of blackout device installed in the housing with channels for wire drawing of filler wire, located between the specified channels, illumination of infrared diode, optical lenses and an optical sensor connected to a signal processor associated with said computing device, wherein infrared diode is installed with possibility of illumination through appropriate optical lens of filler wire, and optical sensor is installed with possibility of receiving through appropriate optical lens of image reflected from filler wire.
EFFECT: use of the invention increases accuracy of maintaining the required filler wire feed rate during welding processes.
