FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used when equipping sowing units with devices for measuring, regulating and controlling operation of sowing sections of pneumatic sowing machines of precision seeding. System for controlling operation of a sowing device of a pneumatic seeder includes: power supply unit 14 with two independent outputs, disc 1 holes pre-cleaning unit, consisting of nozzle 2, receiver 3, pressure regulator 4 and compressor 5, optical pair unit 6 with diodes 7 and 8, information output unit 9, comprising an optical pair controller 10, counter controller 11, display 12, external signal switching relay 13. At the same time through nozzle 2, by means of receiver 3, pressure regulator 4 and compressor 5 to sowing disk 1, compressed air is directed until the holes of disk 1 enter the zone of the optical pair unit. Optical pair unit consists of a transmitting infrared diode and a receiving infrared diode. Optical pair unit is connected to a controller in the form of a microcircuit, which is connected to a controller-counter made in the form of a microcircuit which performs a given counting algorithm and output of the counting result to the display.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to increase operational reliability, quality of sowing and rate of sowing.
