SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. Protective glasses of closed type consist of cast housing with ventilation holes, spectacle holder, elastic head band. Glasses ventilation system relates to indirect ventilation and is represented by ventilation devices in lower, upper and lateral parts of housing. Ventilation device in upper part of housing is located above spectacle holder. Device is made in the form of spherically bent U-shaped ledge, on one side of which there are ventilation holes. Ventilation devices in lower part of housing are made in the form of two spherically bent U-shaped projections with ventilation holes on one side. In the housing side part the ventilation openings represent rectangular section cutouts arranged horizontally, in the elastic band attachment devices area.

EFFECT: design of simple closed-type goggles with an original ventilation system, which are simple in design and reliable in operation and used in conditions of high temperatures and high labor intensity.
