FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the main components of marine equipment and can be used as underwater propulsor for marine environments. Impulse propulsor for marine environments includes at least one housing with water inlet and outlet channel, in which electrodes are installed to generate current in electric field, and electrodes are connected to direct-current source. Inside the housing at least one pair of electrodes is installed opposite to each other and at a distance along the housing. Between the electrodes on the outer surface of the housing there installed are inductance coils, the number of which is equal to the number of pairs of electrodes. Inductance coils are connected to the corresponding pulse sources, and the DC source and the pulse sources are controlled by a control system, the input of which is supplied with a signal from the liquid flow rate sensor installed in the housing.

EFFECT: enabling adjustment of propulsor performance.
