FIELD: shipbuilding; propellers for surface and submarine ships.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in forming mutually perpendicular electrical and magnetic fields on surface of moving body; electrical field is ensured by electrodes galvanically connected with water and located over circumference on surface of body in plane perpendicular to direction of motion and magnetic field is formed by magnets located inside or outside body.

EFFECT: avoidance of mechanical stage in transmission of engine energy to surrounding medium.
