FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetohydrodynamic pump includes at least one module, in the cylindrical body of which there are permanent magnets which are uniformly distributed along the circumference. Note here that two adjacent permanent magnets are directed by opposite poles with respect to each other. Between permanent magnets there are electrodes forming channels converging from center to periphery in radial direction. Between the permanent magnets installed in the lower part of the module and the housing there is a hole. Between the permanent magnets installed in the upper part of the module and the housing there is an air gap.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of pump performance from change of level of pumped liquid level inside pump in vertical position and achievement of acceptable weight and dimension parameters.
