FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering and can be used in making liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPE). Test method for determining reliability of liquid-propellant engine, including resource-cyclic tests 4÷5 engines to limit state at operating conditions and 8÷9 engines in forced modes with step change of value of mode load from engine to engine. Each cycle of resource-cyclic tests is performed during flight life. At that, tests of engines on forced modes are carried out to the level at which the damage mechanism is maintained identical to the engine damage mechanism experienced in operating modes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of obtaining test results, providing high-accuracy determination of LPE reliability in operating conditions; invention provides higher accuracy of determination of technical resource due to involvement of results of all tests and laws of engine life change in a wider range of modes, selected in an optimal way.
