FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: vertical cylindrical tank for storage of liquids relates, mainly, to oil industry and can be used for storage of liquid oil products and liquefied gases. Tank wall consists of two layers, between which there is a gap, in which there are circular trusses consisting of inner and outer belts interconnected by links in form of triangular grid.
EFFECT: high strength and rigidity of the wall with simultaneous reduction of thickness of sheets of both layers of the double-layer wall; higher safety of tank operation.
