FIELD: polymer masterials.

SUBSTANCE: protection of the surface of vertical storage tanks for liquid effluents using a polymer soft two-layer liner. Invention relates to a method for protecting the surface of vertical storage tanks for liquid effluents by using a polymer soft two-layer liner. The method consists in mounting and fastening a two-layer polymer elastic liner (1) in a vertical tank (2) at stage a), as well as in subsequent checking the integrity of the material of the polymer soft two-layer liner (1) at stage (b) by testing the tightness of each a closed section of the liner (1), performed by crimping with a pressure booster connected to the manometric assembly (e) of the liner (1). A polymeric soft two-layer liner is characterized by the presence of at least two sealed closed sections of a polymeric material located on the lower (a) and lateral (b) parts of the liner (1), generated by forming transverse (c) and longitudinal (d) seams, a manometric assembly (e), which is equipped with each section of the liner (1).

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of increasing the service life of industrial equipment that is exposed to aggressive media during the storage of liquids, as well as reducing the time for testing the integrity of the used polymer soft liner.
