FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of measuring (dilatometry) of temperature linear deformations of solid materials. Device comprises a base, in which in upper part along central axis is made T-shaped slot. On two opposite sides of the base two plates are installed with possibility of longitudinal movement and fixation. On end surfaces of each of plates support elements in form of plates are fixed, upper support part of which is sharpened, and lower in their central part has rectangular protrusions, mating with vertical guide of T-shaped slot and having V-shaped slots in upper part. Holes of posts are arranged coaxially and parallel to the base plane, in the hole of one of posts there installed and permanently fixed is the indicator head, and in the hole of the other post there is a detachable indicator head or a detachable stop. Cylindrical rods are fixed on one of the plates opposite to each other with possibility of installation of either two-position identical bearing bushings or thrust plate on the side end of which in the upper part a protruding thrust crest of triangular shape is made.
EFFECT: measurement of linear temperature extensions of samples of various shapes and sizes at high accuracy and simplicity of design.
