SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a flow controller for a water heater and comprising: a housing comprising at least three channels; a branching chamber which is located in the housing, and into which the at least three channels enter, and in which shutoff valve is located, by means of which at least two of said three channels can be closed and left open. At that, the shut-off valve has a control range with the first extreme position, in which the first channel and the second channel from the said at least three channels are interconnected along the flow with each other through the branching chamber and in which the first channel and the third channel from the said at least three channels, in fact, are fenced off from each other.
EFFECT: invention also relates to a water heater equipped with such a flow controller.
