FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method for development of powerful steep formation with discharge of coal of overlying thickness includes horizontal development to straight section boundary of mining section, erection of sections of support and reloader, preparation of array of overlying strata to coal outlet by breaking of its continuity, and discharge of coal of overlying stratum to reloader at movement by reverse stroke. Mounting of supports and reloader sections is carried out at the beginning of horizontal working, which is carried out with their participation. Prior to beginning of works on production of coal of overlying thickness, receiving-loading zone is created by transformation of bottomhole section of mechanized support. Volume of receiving-loading zone is accepted depending on capacity of overlying stratum. Hardening of lower part of coal massif of overlying strata adjoining to horizontal mine working is carried out as advance of receiving-loading zone is performed, and upper one is performed in advance. Exhausted coal flow outgoing coal flow is directed into receiving-loading zone by inclination of support sections overlapping; crushing of large-size pieces of coal is performed by means of cutting device of means of mechanization of mine working.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of development of powerful steep coal bed.
