FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an upper cover component and a cooking apparatus. Upper cover component comprises surface cover and steam valve, and mounting surface of steam valve is arranged on surface cover; steam valve is installed on the mounting surface of the steam valve and comprises a valve seat and a valve cover closing the valve seat, a peripheral fitting surface located on the valve cover in the direction along its periphery, peripheral fitting surface rests on mounting surface of steam valve, between lower mounting surface of valve seat and mounting surface of steam valve gap is formed, and steam valve closes at least 1/2 of upper surface of surface cover. According to the upper cover component according to the present invention, the valve seat is in a suspended state, therefore, the problem is eliminated, consisting in the fact that the steam valve is lifted due to thermal deformation of the seating surface of the steam valve or the lower mounting surface, and the size of the steam valve exceeds 1/2 the size of the surface cover, thereby solving the problem of poor prevention of spillage caused by a small volume of the inner cavity of the conventional steam valve, while significantly increasing upper heating limit of high power without spillage.
EFFECT: present invention improves taste properties during cooking.
