FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of tobacco raw materials and tobacco raw materials produced by this method. Method for production of bleached tobacco raw material involves the following stages: (I) mechanical defibrating of unprocessed tobacco raw material to produce defibrated tobacco raw material and (II) treatment of defibrated tobacco raw material obtained at step (I), at least one bleaching agent to produce processed tobacco raw material.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is providing an improved method for production of bleached tobacco raw material.
