FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nondestructive testing and can be used in production of eddy current converters for non-destructive testing. Essence: imbalance voltage is minimized by selecting the number of turns of the measuring coils and the coil with lower voltage is determined. Then, the area covered by at least one outer turn of this coil is increased by arrangement of multilayer gasket under these turns and change of number of layers and length of one of them, achieving minimum unbalance value.
EFFECT: high level of balancing maintained in a wide frequency range, which provides a significant increase in threshold sensitivity to defects.
