FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nondestructive inspection and can be used for flaw detection of multilayer carbon fiber-reinforced plastics. Essence of invention consists in that method for eddy-current inspection of multilayer carbon fiber-reinforced plastic objects additionally comprises stages, on which before scanning with the help of the second inductance coil, identical to the first, exciting in the control zone additional eddy currents, and the second eddy-current signal is obtained under their action, the second coil is rotated relative to the axis normal to the surface of the monitored object, local maximum of the second eddy-current signal U2 is detected at angular orientation of the second coil, which does not coincide with the angular orientation of the first coil, and fixing mutual position of first and second coils at angular orientation obtained for them.
EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting defects in multilayer carbonaceous objects.
