FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynecology, and can be used for treating genitourinary syndrome in postmenopausal women by subcutaneous administration of placental hydrolyzate (Melsmon preparation) to subcutaneously 4.0 ml. For this purpose, administering the Melsmon preparation is carried out locally without additional use of the hormonal therapy with estrogen-based preparations, by specially designed pharmacopuncture points in the external genitals, pubis and anterior abdominal wall areas, where point 1 is mid point between posterior adhesion and anus, points 2 and 3 are points of midline connecting sciatic tubercle and posterior solder, point 4 is point at intersection of abdominal white line and pubic plexus, point 5 is point 2 cm below points 4, along the white abdominal line, point 6 – point 2 cm below the umbilicus, along a white line of abdomen, points 7 and 8 – point 2 cm on the right and left of the umbilicus, points 9 and 10 – point of the ovarian projection area; wherein administering the Melsmon preparation is carried out in amount of 2 ampoules of 0.2–0.5 ml at each point 2 times week for 2 weeks, then 1 time week for 4–8 weeks.

EFFECT: invention provides eliminating manifestation of menopausal symptoms in females without using hormonal therapy, reducing side effects, reducing and eliminating vulvovaginal atrophy symptoms.
