METHOD OF MAPPING USING APERTURE SYNTHESIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01S13/90

Abstract RU 2710021 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in location for obtaining a picture of a section of human internal organs and mapping opaque media in an optical range of media or volumes of substance to detect their internal structure. Essence of invention consists in the fact that radar movements are excluded when recording trajectory Doppler signal. Reflected trajectory Doppler signal for the aperture synthesis is recorded in the interference space by means of a switched antenna array by successive switching of the antenna array elements distributed in the interference space along the given aperture. This distinctive operation compared to the prototype improves the quality of image reconstruction due to the lack of movement of the locator, which enables to get rid of the surface wave, which leads to image distortion and even sometimes prevents image reconstruction on Doppler signal. Besides, the absence of movement of the locator enables to exclude immersion of the patient into the aqueous medium and to increase the comfort of tomography.

EFFECT: higher image quality, elimination of patient's place in water environment.
