FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to near-field location and can be used for acoustic waves tomography during monochromatic probing of surrounding space. In method of mapping by means of annular antenna array monochromatic probing signal is emitted, reflected signal is received. At that, the space scanning the focus is controlled by means of the fixed annular antenna array by setting the calculated initial phases on each radiating element of the annular antenna array, forming an image matrix by distributing a received signal by the range elements, in accordance with the reconstruction region, and matrix conversion into brightness signals to obtain section image of tomographed object.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the data recording system during tomography and high image quality.
