FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a through electrical connector and can be used in electrical connectors and sealed leads in power plants operating under vacuum or in aggressive media, at high temperatures, while providing the required air-tightness. Connector comprises housing (1), in which ceramic insulator (2) is installed, which is made with through holes. Contact pins (4) are inserted into hole and fixed by glass blowing. Contact pins (4) along the whole length are made with square cross section. Housing (1) and pins (4) are made from high-chromium steel. Gap between ceramic insulator (2) and housing 1 can be sealed.
EFFECT: increased conductivity, increased uniformity of glass finder distribution, increased accuracy of pin alignment with simplification of installation process, increased resistance to increased temperatures and increased pressure, increased quality of welded joint at simplification of welding process; this allows solving the problem of maintaining electroconductivity and tightness at high temperature and pressure, simultaneously reducing overall dimensions and simplifying the design.
