FIELD: power engineering, specifically, commutation electric apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed in power plants operating under conditions of vacuum, at raised temperatures, ensuring leak-tight connection serviceable at temperatures up to 800 C and high mechanical loads. Connector has sealed plug and unsealed socket, each part comprises body, insulator and metal contacts located on holes of insulator. Sealed plug includes metal cups located between surfaces of pin contacts and insulator and connected to it tightly. Each sealing unit of pin contact and cup is placed outside of zone of installation of insulator, on side opposite to position of socket and includes additional bushing embracing pin contact and end part of cup having conical shape.
EFFECT: enhanced adaptability to manufacture, raised functional reliability of electric connector with expanded range of utilized materials.
