FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of hydrogel systems – complexes (associates) of hyaluronic acid with alkali-earth and transition metals selected from: Ca, Mg, Zn, and a method for production thereof. Such hydrogel systems can be used in pharmacology, for example, as a drug carrier in target therapy of arthrosis, as well as in antiage therapy, mesotherapy for eliminating skin dysfunctions. Hydrogel water-soluble composition based on sodium salt of hyaluronic acid and polyvalent metal ions, which is a stable system of gel globules in deionized water, contains a gelling agent from a matrix of high-molecular hyaluronic acid with molecular weight 1,500–1,800 kDa with uniformly distributed and bound chemically with a matrix particles of a complex compound of low-molecular hyaluronic acid with molecular weight of 20–60 kDa with metal cations selected from the group: Ca, Mg, Zn, wherein the ratio of high-molecular hyaluronic acid to said complex compound is 10:1, content of said metals in the complex compound is 0.001–0.01 wt% concentration of said gelling agent in deionized water – 1.5–2.5 wt%.
EFFECT: high stability of the hydrogel composition and low amount of uncontrolled impurities penetrating body tissues.
