FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser arc welding and can be used in various industries, for example, in production of pipes. In the proposed method of laser-arc welding the preliminary stage of electric arc welding is performed on a test sample and at the steady-state process of electric arc welding one determines the variation range and maximum value of the rate of supply of the consumable welding electrode at electric arc welding in the mode of maintaining the specified values of welding parameters. Thereafter, laser-arc welding is performed outside of welded part with formation of one welding bath at specified values of welding parameters, wherein in real time melting rate of consumable welding electrode is controlled and rate of melted welding electrode is maintained at preset maximum value by adjusting distance between laser beam and electric arc burning point.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher stability of laser-arc welding process and parameters of welded joint.
