FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to sliding bearings with gas lubricant used as supports of rotors of high-speed turbomachines for various purposes, which are subject to increased requirements for high-speed performance and possibility of multiple start-ups (stops). Thrust span gas-dynamic bearing comprises housing (1) made in the form of a disk with radial slots (2), into which lobes are inserted, fixed by lug attachments by means of screws (5). Elastic elements are arranged in sector elevation (9) and are made in form of thin-wall sectors with primary bend with possibility of deformation under action of centrifugal loads, contacting with inner radius surface of elastic elements and leading to flexure of lugs fixed by fastenings, change of axial gap and stiffness coefficient is proportional to rotation speed.
EFFECT: minimization of starting torque, reduced wear of surface of elastic elements at start-up and stop times, increased reliability and durability of bearing assembly, operating life and stability of motion.
