FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for preparation of preparations for treatment of fruits prior to storage. Method of producing a preparation for treating fruits and vegetables includes grinding dry leaves and pericarp of walnuts, taken in ratio of 1:1, to the size of particles passing through a sieve with holes diameter of 2–4 mm, extraction for 30 minutes with saturated aqueous solution at pH 3.0–4.0, hydromodule 1:10 and temperature 10–14 °C in electromagnetic field with carrier frequency of 24–26 Hz and mixing frequency of 10 rpm, followed by separation of first extract from extraction cake, by filtration, three repeated extraction of extraction cake to produce three extracts and subsequent combination of obtained extracts.
EFFECT: invention widens the spectrum of action of the preparation for treating fruits and vegetables, which provides a high degree of protection of vegetables and fruits against microbial spoilage.
