SUBSTANCE: device relates to the field of automotive rescue equipment. Device for rescue of people comprises motor vehicle with rotary platform 1, on which the housing of boom 2 with telescopic sections 3 with hydraulic drive of their movement, on the axis of the last section, basket 5 with enclosure 6, opening in the floor, shutter 7 closed by drive, magazine 8 for lowered capsules 10 with mechanism 11 for grip of rope 12, thrown over unit 13 and connected with working and auxiliary winches. Under block 13 there is slip 20 for capsule 20 location relative to the transport way. To receive capsules 10, dais 32 with steps 33 with railing 34 is installed at the bottom. At that, rope 12 is moved aside, beyond telescopic sections 3 for use as rope road at descent of capsules 10 equipped with suspension 9, which through horizontal axis is connected to mechanism 11 of rope 12 grip. Unit 13 is mounted on top of pivoted lever 14 equipped with drive 17 and installed on axis 15 in rack 16 of enclosure 5. On axis 15 there is also guide 19 with a device for regulating its angular position relative to lever 14, and on the guide itself there is slider 19 with slip 20 installed with possibility of adjustable movement. Dais 32 is fixed on platform 1, and its steps 33 and the upper part of their railing 34 are made as folding. For movement of victims from floor to level of basket device is equipped with autonomous elevator 35.

EFFECT: disclosed technical solution of the device has allowed overall simplification of its design.
