FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication networks, particularly to methods of transmitting data on different types of communication lines. Technical result of the claimed technical solution is achieved by the fact that first time synchronizing transmitter and receiver, converting the current time value into a time mark with a size corresponding to the packet field allocated to the sequence number of that packet, recording a time mark in the field assigned to the packet number, correcting the acknowledgment time value on the transmission, and after checking the condition for correct transmission of the packet, transmitting the time mark resetting instruction from the transmitter to the receiver, storing the zero value of the time mark.
EFFECT: reduced probability of loss of transmitted data at the receiving side.
