DEVICE FOR DRUG INJECTION INTO OCULAR TISSUE AND METHOD FOR DRUG INJECTION INTO OCULAR TISSUE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M5/158

Abstract RU 2710491 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises: a body configured to receive at least a portion of the drug container; a needle connector connected to the body and forming a canal configured to receive a puncture element therein, wherein the needle connector has a distal end surface configured to contact the target tissue target surface, when substance moves through puncture element; and a drive rod configured to tightly seal the drug container. Both the drive rod and the puncture element are made so that the distal end portion of the drive rod moves inside the drug container, and the length of the puncture element extending in the distal direction from the distal end surface of the needle connector increases as a response to the force applied to the drive rod when the distal end portion of the puncture member is placed within the first region of the target tissue, and movement of the puncture element relative to the distal end surface of the needle connector as a response to the force applied to the drive rod is limited, when the distal end portion of the puncture element is placed within the second region of the target tissue. At that, the force is less than the threshold value.

EFFECT: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices for drug injection into ocular tissue.
