SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport facilities, namely, to computer tracking and searching systems. Method for tracking an object from a vehicle comprises steps of establishing a communication line between a mobile device and a navigation system of a vehicle, each of a plurality of locations is sequentially transmitted over a communication line from a mobile device to a navigation system and successively setting each of the plurality of locations as a destination in the navigation system and updating the driving instructions accordingly. Method further includes steps of transmitting location information of a moving object to a communication system and transmitting location information of the moving object from the communication system to the mobile device. System for tracking an object from a vehicle comprises a navigation system, a mobile device. Mobile device sequentially reports each of the plurality of locations along the communication line to the navigation system and the navigation system successively sets each of the plurality of locations as a destination in the navigation system and updates the driving instructions accordingly.
