FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely: to disconnector (10) for the overvoltage arrestor. Disconnecting device (10) comprises housing (15), including cavity (20), and disconnection unit (25) located inside cavity (20). Disconnecting device is made with possibility of connection with overvoltage limiter and Earth potential. Body (15) forms inner housing (15) of housing assembly (14). Body assembly (14) comprises inner housing (15) and outer housing (16). At least one ventilation opening (65) of inner housing (15) is in fluid communication with at least one other ventilation opening (66) of outer housing (16) so that labyrinth (67) for forming gases is formed on path (68) for gases coming from triggering disconnector cartridge (26).
EFFECT: improvement of environmental protection due to unintentional fire caused by overcurrent.
