SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for reducing oxygen content in an atmosphere of a closed space and/or for maintaining a low oxygen content in an atmosphere of a closed space below a predetermined and reduced working concentration compared to concentration of oxygen in ordinary ambient air. To this end, the system comprises a gas separation system, the outlet of which is hydraulically connected to the closed space to continuously feed the gas mixture with low oxygen content or oxygen-displacing gas.

EFFECT: gas separation system is configured so that concentration of oxygen in atmosphere of closed space always remains in range between preset working concentration and preset or determined lower limit concentration during continuous operation of gas separation system.
